TORGAS is a not-for-profit group training company supplying businesses small to large throughout Queensland with Apprentices and Trainees. With over 25years experience TORGAS has built a strong reputation and partnerships with industry to provide quality employment opportunities in apprenticeship and traineeships.

WHAT WE DO 

TORGAS employs apprentices and trainees and then places them with you for as long as you need them. We provide a simple and cost effective service for your business.

WE MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU

  • TAKING CARE OF ALL THE GOVERNMENT PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS for employing an apprentice or trainee saving you valuable time to focus on your core business activities.
  • WE MANAGE THE SELECTION AND RECRUITMENT PROCESS by short-listing candidates that best suit your business. You have the final say.
  • WE CAN HELP YOU MANAGE YOUR CASHFLOW AND WORKFLOW by offering the flexibility in the hiring duration (from a few months to the duration of their apprenticeship or traineeship) freeing you from the worry of long-term contracts and offering permanent employment.
  • WE MANAGE THE ENTIRE PAYROLL service paying the apprentice or trainee on a weekly basis under the correct Award or Enterprise Agreement ensuring compliance with Fair Work Australia Legislation.
  • WE ISSUE THE HOST BUSINESS WITH A WEEKLY INVOICE covering wages paid by TORGAS directly to the apprentices and trainees. For your convenience we have a simple direct debit system saving you time and money in mailing cheque payments.
  • WE PROVIDE ONGOING SUPPORT AND YOUR OWN FIELD OFFICER throughout the duration of the apprenticeship or traineeship to ensure everything runs smoothly. We provide you with an experienced Field Officer who is your one point of contact and provides frequent contact visits to monitor and provide support in the training development of the apprentice or trainee.
  • WE PROVIDE MENTORING SUPPORT to help the apprentice or trainee deal with career or personal problems.
  • WE MAINTAIN ALL THE APPRENITCE AND TRAINEE RECORDS in a confidential and secure manner.
  • OUR SERVICE IS 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE
